Customer Guide to Pentagons Repair Process
Step One
Contact Pentagon Accident Repair Centres. Depending on the extent of the damage we will either recovery your vehicle to our centre or arrange an estimate appointment. Our estimators will visit your home or workplace or inspect the vehicle at one of our centres. We will need your insurance company details and policy no.
Step Two If your vehicle is non driveable we will arrange an replacement vehicle or courtesy vehicle as soon as possible. Normally within 24 hours.
Step Three
You must notify your insurance company of the incident and that your choice of repairer is Pentagon. They will try to direct you one of their “Approved Repairers “. The choice of repairer is yours insist that Pentagon are the repairing garage. ( see Know Your Rights ) They will provide you with a Claim No. Please inform our Customer Advisors of the claim no at your earliest convenience.
Step Four
Once we have compiled a computerised estimate & images we will either send it electronically with images to your insurance or contact your insurance company for authorisation or an engineers inspection.
Step Five
The insurance company will authorise us to proceed with the repairs. This normally take 48hours. Once we have received authority our Body Shop Management System will schedule the repair The system draws on information such as courtesy car availability , technician resources and your specific repair details to find when the date when the repair can be completed in the shortest period of time. If your vehicle is off site our customer advisors will contact you to book in your vehicle and arrange a courtesy vehicle.
Step Six
Repairs Commence. Quality checks are made at different stages throughout the repair to ensure repair integrity and quality. A final quality inspection is carried which will include a road test if necessary.
Step Seven
Updates are given by our Customer Advisors during the repair process. Any change in the repair process or completion date will be notified.
Step Eight
On completion of your vehicle our Customer Advisors will arrange a convenient time for the collection or delivery of your vehicle
Step Nine
You will be asked to sign a collection note to say you have received the repaired vehicle back into your care.
Step Ten
We will collect any payment due including insurance excess payments. We regret we cannot release any vehicles without payment. Cash ,Credit Cards & Cheques with a supporting bank card are accepted.
